Scarlet (short story)

This is a fiction story, its not real. I'm only trying my hands and my brain so read and be blessed.

Scarlet entered the room and saw her child Julian, crying. She said "stop crying, you have started this morning, you don't want to go to school". She brought Julian out and they waited for the school bus and it came. Scarlet lost her husband to car crash 3 years ago, Julian was 4 years. Since then Scarlet got a job, took care of Julian all by herself. Scarlet reported to her office after the school bus went. As she entered her office an envelope addressed to her was on the table, she opened it and its a sack letter. She stormed out to the managing director's office and managing director apologized for the sack letter, that they are dropping employees. She cried and she packed her papers out of the office.
She got home and the nanny asked why she is back so early, she said she was fired from her office. She and the nanny cried together. The next day Scarlet took her CV to companies as she exit from one company, she saw a woman crying on the street with her two years old baby, the woman was not dressed well, her hair scattered. Scarlet was moved with pity and she went to the woman and she asked what is the problem. The woman said "I am crying because of my misfortune, I and my child have not eaten since 3 days, I have no money to buy foodstuffs or food. Scarlet gave her all her money in her bag that was twenty-two thousand naira. The woman broke down crying and thanking her. Scarlet asked where she lives, she told her and Scarlet offered her a lift and she agreed. When she dropped her, it was a block of flats, her own was a one room apartment. She drove out wondering if it was her, no money to feed, she lost her job but she had savings, she thanked God for her, she decided to visit the woman. Two days later, she visited her and her baby, she brought provisions for them. The woman said she prayed that an angel will help that day, Scarlet appeared, and she is back. She was jumping and thanking God for her. Scarlet wanted to know her story, she told her, her husband died when she was pregnant and her husband's family maltreated her and drove her out of the house, since then she is been managing, she has been begging to foot her bills. She said she pays for the house for four thousand and five hundred naira, she was owing 3 months rent but she paid with that money. Scarlet gave her thirty thousand naira, to buy anything to cook and start her own business. Scarlet was concerned about the woman that she didn't bother about her joblessness. The woman asked Scarlet her story, she told her, she is job hunting and she has a 7years old daughter to take of, and her husband died 3 years ago. The woman was sorry that money was spent on her, she said she will sell recharge cards and spilt her profit. Scarlet laughed and said she don't have to, and she was her priority now. 2 days later the woman started selling recharge cards, that night a blue car stopped and a man rushed out of the car to buy recharge card. As he was bringing money out of his back pocket, he dropped three thousand dollars on the ground and he didn't know. He paid and he rushed in the car and drove off. The next morning, he looked in his jean, and he did not see the three thousand dollars, he was mad, he got out and into the car, he drove to his friend's house to ask for the money,no avail. Back then the woman saw the money and kept it for the owner. He drove to every place that he went and he asked for the money, everybody said no. He drove to the recharge card place and she ran to him and showed him the money. He was grateful and she was happy for him, he said what did she want, he owns a company, he is very rich, anything at all. She said she wants a job for a nice woman, she gave her money to start the recharge card business, thats all. He agreed and he was surprised she didn't ask for money or job. She called Scarlet immediately that she wants Scarlet to show up. She showed up and the  man met her, she was surprised that this woman is asking for a job for her and she has nothing. The man gave her his card and directed her to call him tomorrow morning at 9 o clock. The man thought to give a present to the woman that found his money, his mind was made up. The next day, Scarlet called the man and met him in his office. She got a job that pays way better than the previous one. The man said the woman that sells recharge card come and see him in the afternoon at 3 o clock.  The woman came and the man said to her, they are going out and they went to a big supermarket. He said the supermarket is her's, he was looking for someone to give and yesterday he heard a voice when he was thinking about what he will give to her, the voice said he will give it to her. He said he doesn't know her or her story but his mind said she needs it. The woman was happy and she thanked him for that.
In the evening Scarlet came to see her, they talked and talked, Scarlet thanked her for her honest deed, and also the job. The woman thanked Scarlet for seeing her in the road, she told Scarlet this man did, giving a supermarket to her. They prayed and thanked God for their fortune.

This is the end of the story...The moral lesson is be good to everybody you never know, help can come from anywhere.

My Greece Experience

When I boarded the flight to Greece, I knew I was in for an exciting trip. One week in Greece, I found out that I was totally right. First I and my crew traveled in September, it’s very important to know when to travel.  Reasons why we decided to travel in September are:  * The accommodation and flight costs are generally lower, I tell you, compared to July prices, it’s outrageous. * Most places in Greece are less busy because Greece is a busy town you want to come when there is less chaos. * It’s easier to find last minute boat tickets to the island. Oh mama!!! You will want to visit the Islands, if you don’t during your trip, you can as well say “I didn’t visit Greece” because the Island is the fun of the trip. * The weather is cooler and not as windy. * People are generally in a better mood so you can find happiness anywhere. * Many locals go on vacation in August, except Athens and Thessaloniki.  So if you want to enjoy your trip, please take this little advice that I sha
